The POLAR wood-lamination producer started making paper cutters in 1946.
Started as Adolf Mohr, Maschinenfabrik, Hofheim in 1920, they had become
a leading maker of paper cutters, and by 1962, had sold their 10,000th
paper cutter. Because the quality of POLAR paper cutters was becoming known,
they sold 20,000 by 1967, 50,000 by 1979, and 100,000 by 1995. Today POLAR
