OPERATOR MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance of the cutter is essential to safety, dependable operation and accurate cutting. Following is a list of things the operator can do in only a few minutes a day to keep the machine running smoothly. You may want to print out this schedule and post it on the machine.
DAILY
CHECK ALL SAFETY DEVICES
DUST OFF TABLE AFTER USE
APPLY SILICONE SPRAY TO TABLEWEEKLY
LUBRICATE BACKGAUGE (1 to 3 times per week)
CHANGE BLADE (20-40 hours of use)
CHECK OIL LEVELS AND INSPECT FOR LEAKSMONTHLY
LUBRICATE GREASE FITTINGS
CLEAN PAINTED SURFACES with general purpose cleaner
CLEAN AND WAX TABLEQUARTERLY
BLOW OUT MAIN DRIVE MOTOR AND FLYWHEEL
CLEAN OUT FLYWHEEL GUARD
CLEAN OIL DRIP PAN UNDER BACK TABLE
